Deportivo Atzompa claim Copa La Movida 2011

Madison, Wis. – Sunday, May 22 – In a game played at Warner Park Sunday afternoon, Deportivo Atzompa defeated Deportivo Santa Inés by a final score of 2-0 to claim this year’s Copa La Movida

Initially, the eight teams that sought the championship played through a two-day tournament to determine the two best squads.

Both the champioship team and the runners-up received their corresponding trophy, plus a full set of soccer uniforms courtesy of La Movida Sports. All eight teams also received an official Joma soccer ball.

Copa La Movida 2011 2011 was sponsored by La Movida 1480AM, La Liga Latinoamericana de Fútbol, Coors and Miller beer brands, La Movida Sports and Voz Latina Newspaper.
